I’m about to get busy canvassing here in old Colorado(have you registered to vote? you can check: Am I registered ), but though I’m canvassing, I have time to write which is great. And, more importantly, the writing is flowing. I sit down to write and bang out 2k words in a few hours. It’s insane. Maybe no distracting cute cats and husband?
Anyway…Ch. 23 has turned into Ch. 24. But, great news: Chapter 24(which is a whopping 4k word and expected to be at least another 2k) has only one scene left! Then I only have the epilogue. WOO!
Bad(?) news- I spent an hour on the phone with an @FBI agent from the Investigative Publicity and Public Affairs Unit (the people who help writers/producers etc) (shout out to Jeff who, btw, was amazing) and, basically, I have a lot to rewrite and ‘fix’. So much to fix.
IT’S DAUNTING! @@
I’m taking creative license on some–esp stuff the FBI couldn’t answer–but I think I’m coming as close to reality as possible(something important to me).
In short:
- 1 more scene to write
- Lots of rewrites for stuff I have wrong
- We’re almost done
- The @FBI is awesome
PS: I continue to use ‘woo’ way too much.
