Skip Dani’s fluffy random blah and go to release info
I had a lot of betas and then the only two who hadn’t read shattered glass got sick at the same time I did and they didn’t meet the deadline. Though the asked if they could read it now, unfortunately, it’s too late to make their edits within the timeline, so I had to say no. In other words, I dunno how the book is going to read to a new reader <8( blah
The other betas had a lot of good crit and good things to say. I’m working through those changes now. Like literally now. I tabbed over to write this. My husband took my son to his parents for the weekend so I could finish my editing process. OMG is that hard when I miss my son so much! (The lengths I’ll go through to get this book out) I mean, he’s 40 minutes away, not in Siberia, but still…(actually, Siberia isn’t that far from us tbh)
Anyway, u-turn off the sidetrack and back onto the subject at hand. I promised updates.
RELEASE INFO
Tentatively still set for February(late February) depending on two things:
- Paperback
- I have to send in the layout for paperback and get it back to review all the pages before publishing. This is the only thing that will delay the February timeline with 100% certainty. I won’t publish before having the paperback ready.
- The audiobook: Firstly, I can’t send the book to the narrator without completing edits. Secondly, he hasn’t agreed to do the second book at this time. In fact, it seems he probably won’t be available. How this plays out with the release date:
- If he can’t do it, definitively, I’ll release ebook/paperback asap while searching for a new narrator(depending on point 1 above)
- If he can do it, and it won’t take long(1-2 months max), I’ll release when it’s ready on audiobook with the latest I’ll push release is in May.
- If he can do it, but it wont be ready until after May, I’ll release as planned per point 1 and then release audiobook when ready.
- Finally, I have a new cover for NSI. The cover reveal will be very soon.
PS: Where is everyone chatting/posting these days? I’ll admit I’m OOL. I spent most of my time in Discord with my gaming buds.
